Born unto Samuel Jericho and a hope priestess on a jaunt through time, Alexander Jericho was born into an age without gods. He learned the lore of the Bronccourian faith growing up, but was more attracted to the teachings of the Amorites. Upon reaching his majority, he promptly enrolled not in an Amorite school, though, but a class purporting to be taught by an ex-Amorite priest, teaching young men how to get girls.
When he first entered the class, no one could take their eyes off him. Having grown up amongst Bronncourians, who were open, friendly, and never rude, he did not know what to think of this. Shortly after class began, he started to think something was wrong, as the Amorite priest would stutter, stop, and stare every few minutes. Finally, he demanded to know what was going on, and he was told, "What are you doing here? All you need do is smile at a girl and she's yours."
Perplexed, he stormed out. He had never had much success with women (or men, for that matter), and his frustrations were mounting. He found himself in a bar, drinking and washing away his woes. His fumbling attempts to pick up women that night mostly confused or insulted them, and he left unsatisfied.
He was then approached by a man who followed him from the bar, offering him knowledge and power over men and women unlike he had ever dreamed. All he need do was serve the dark Hurrunic sect. Alexander, knowing that this would lead to trouble, declined, and then was beset by cultists.
When he awoke, he was strapped to an altar, about to have his heart cut out and his skin peeled off. He wept there, struggling against his bonds, and a lowly female slave, tongueless and weak, fell in love with him. She risked her own life to set him free, rallying a dozen other slaves, male and female alike, to save him. Many died to do so, but when the dust cleared, Alexander was leading a coterie of 7 people out of a dark temple and into the world.
Quickly, he learned the pleasures of love from them, both fraternal and sexual, both romantic and platonic. His true Talent emerged in this time, something he believed he was born without: when he made love, his partner was healed.
His small faction fought their way out of Hurrunic held territory and back to the Bronccourian enclave he grew up in, only to find it ravaged by the Xanaxians. Angered, he vowed revenge, and he took to the mountains with his coterie, and others he picked up on the way: survivors, fighters, and others, and began a small society of his own. Over the years, he learned of his ancestors, the Jerichos, and thus, named his home after them. He began a city Jericho in the mountains of Vimala, where he learned the ways of the Amorites.
He created a society based on mutual love and understanding, coming into confidence in his own abilities and of his own startlingly beautiful body.
He stood against the demonworshippers and other strange factions, and eventually, he discovered who had killed his home town. He was then shocked to find that after all those years, revenge no longer interested him. Still, he was convinced to face them at the behest of his followers. The Xanaxians he faced were powerful and dangerous, and needed to be stopped. In the process of facing them, he discovered a plot by the Xanaxians to take the Mountain of Trials and challenge a dark Champion for power. One of their warriors, one Dhalgaranian, was a powerful mage-knight who might well have been able to succeed in taking one of the newer Champions. Not knowing how the Mountain worked, Alexander followed him.
When he reached the Trial of Devotion, he answered honestly as to what he believed, and found himself facing the Beast of Trials, which he bested. When he won and came down from the Mountain, he found the Xanaxians waiting without a Champion--their warrior never came down.
With his new found powers, Alexander converted the Xanaxians with soft spoken words and called upon them to spread the words. He returned to Jericho to find it undersiege by a horde of goblins, each sworn to the sleeping, Eternal Goblin King. Their leader, Tza'ltarak Heartripper, blew the trumpet Wallbreaker and destroyed the sapphire walls of Jericho, just as Alexander was riding back with his small force. The people of the city met the goblin horde head on, and Alexander came at them from behind. In the heat of the battle, the goblins found the power of the Champion of Love could not sway them, and they fought fiercely, but Alexander rallied his people with his glowing, beautiful visage, more powerful than a banner, and he took out Heartripper himself.
The walls, decimated, were never rebuilt, and Alexander declared that from then on, Jericho would welcome any who came to it. He built a sprawling, beautiful mountain city where love reigned.

Alexander appears to be a man in his early 30s, with shoulder length light brown hair, a face sculpted like a statue, and a body slender but strong. He tends to wear deep blue and white fashionable clothes, and he carries a rapier as a matter of course.
He is stunningly beautiful.
