Notable laws: The laws of Akazad are intricate, convoluted, and often to do with territories, especially regarding mining, and property, especially regarding what one crafts.

Military: The dwarven armies are highly segregated, mostly due to racial tensions between mountain and deep dwarves. They have a very poor navy, no air force, and their metaphysick forces are very small. However, their artillery units are impressive and their weapons and armor are amongst the finest in the world. A poor cavalry is made up for by their hardiness, and their underground and demolitions forces are extremely good.

Culture: A constant struggle between the underground and the surface, with the deep dwarves representing the underground world (with white, hermit, and mana dwarves) and the mountain dwarves representing the surface world (with bannoch, hill, and greater dwarves). The churches of Earth and Metal are also key to the struggle, but it very rarely gets violent. Usually, the struggle is political, and thus petty and cruel. However, the common dwarf is content to live his life and tend his work, seeking usually the title of Master of Craft from whatever guild or village they are part of. They are fashioners of things, tenders of raw materials into fine constructions, and their lives reflect this. Family and friends take precedence to even ancient grudges, and common enemies who rear their ugly heads will find in a unified nation more trouble than they thought possible. Famous for their sturdiness and gruff natures, dwarves are also known for their pride and their colorful language, their zeal and their strength.
