The first name on the list is Agga'dan Rhouk, a greater goblin whose name is unfamiliar to her. It lists him as a potential master gunner in the southwestern port areas, run by Maggaur. It doesn't say why he's there, but he's to be found at an inn (The Pale Hand) in that area
It doesn't take long to get there. Rosiel can see Maggaur's flagship docked & being unloaded of various things. A few dozen buildings line the region. The inn she seeks is nearby.
Rosiel scans the ship briefly, and any others near it, before heading into the inn.
The varied sort of ships that are kept in a pirate fleet, plus a few ships not owned by Maggaur. None are Drukker's or Jowan's The inn is pretty standard run down reever inn. Maggaur's flag (a bull's head with no horns) hangs behind the desk. Maggaur has about twelve ships at these docks. The rest are either down the way or a little out to sea.
The innkeeper is an old human looking fellow.
Rosiel approaches the desk. "I'm looking for Agga'dan Rhouk."
The innkeep eyes you, then gets visibly nervous, & just points upstairs, "Third door to your left."
Rosiel heads upstairs without another word, to pound on the indicated door.
Amarcus follows. The door pops open a tiny bit & an old goblin look sout at you.
"Who's this? I called for now whores."
"If I weren't in a fair mood, I'd peel your skin from your bones for that. As it is, I may have an offer for you."
He snorts, glances at Amarcus, who just looks calmly at him, then back at you, "Who sent you?"
Rosielsays, "I go where I please. I hear you're a fair gunner, assuming you're Agga'dan Rhouk, and I'm in the market."
"Who'n the Hells are you?"
"Rosiel Rhea."
He shudders & looks a little pale. His door shuts & you hear metal scrape on wood, then it opens, "Come in, but slowly."
He has his gun pointed at you, but in a way to imply he's just being cautious, not threatening.
Rosiel strolls in and casually takes a seat. Amarcus sits on the bed.
Agga'dan nods & pulls up another chair. He sets the gun on a table. "Talk."
"I've decided to go into business for myself, and I intend to put together a crew that will rival that of the
Ragged Dawn. You came highly recommended."
He raises his eyebrows, "Rival the
Dawn, eh? We going after the
Dawn, then?"
Rosiel's tone stays even, though her look grows a bit hungry. "In good time."
He nods, "Good answer. Spit it out. Where've you been these past ten years? They said you was marooned & we all figured that meant dead."
"Death herself couldn't stop me from keeping my oath. You don't need to know where I've been. Just that if you follow me you'll find it worth your while."
He grins a big, goblin grin, "Aye, that's the hot air I expected. Still, if there's anyone's got a better reason than me to hunt down the
Dawn, it's you, & I let it be well known the only reason I'd set back foot on a reever's ship was to put a cannonball through Jowan Gheer's head. You gonna take me there? Fine. I'll gun for that." He holds out his hand to shake.
Rosiel shakes. "I'll be at Manwort's tomorrow morning. We'll discuss the details then."
He nods, "I'll be there."
