| Description | An abezethiban appears to be a demonic vultureman with one red wing, with a huge, distorted body & a large, hooked beak. They often have mutated into more horrific forms. |
| Procreation | Abezethibans can reproduce with other abezethibans (making abezethibans), werevultures (making half-demons), vultures (making abezethibans), harpies (making half-demons) & other demons (making whatever the mother is). |
| Magic | 1/200000 have soul magic (usually famine), 1/1000000 have heart magic. They can learn mind & body magic, but almost never do. If they have faith, it is famine. They can use void normally. |
| Special Powers | Abezethibans explode if they stay on the ground for too long, unleashing unholy energy that wastes any crops in about a mile radius. They are immune to mundane fire. They can fly without tiring for days. Their beak is an unholy weapon of great power, causing malnourishment as well as wounds. They have misty breath similar to that of the dreads, except that it does not liquify bones, but organs. They also gain power when they feed on the righteous dead, sending the souls of such to the Hells if they had the luck to slay them. If they devour 1000 righteous dead, they mutate. They never eat anyone until they are dead. A famine or darkness spell or prayer versus a 13 difficulty can control or summon one. |

| Culture | Abezethibans are horrible vulture-like, fiend-like demons that fly around in sinister flocks of 3 or 4. They screech in demonic when they see prey, & they love to circle for hours. They generally do not serve anyone, but they do like to travel with harpies. They will kill yankiir (falconmen) or athenar (owlmen) on sight, but have been known to consort with greater crows and vulturemen. They will never leave any flesh on a dead body. |
| Notables | Ktakla, the First Abezethiban, who has been seen to circle the Mountain of Trials & eat the flesh of the failed Champions. |
