Aam'nal stands about 9' tall. He is a human in appearance, skin-tone varying by the light, but draped always in dark grey. He bears a crown of white, hair whiter still, and hands of bone. His eyes are deep, empty pits, and his tongue is a serpent. His voice is soft and disturbing, like a whisper disturbing the peace of a cemetary.
His touch withers the flesh. His eyeless pits drain souls. He can freeze the air with a gesture, and in doing so, sap any within it of soul, mind, and heart. He can command machines at will, and diseases swirl around him. He has five words of power: one to inflict doom, one to inflict misfortune, one to inflict poison, one to inflict corruption of the soul, and one to inflict loss of identity.
His followers are all undead, and he grants them amplification of their powers in exchange for the souls they harvest for him.
Aam'nal represents corruption, the corruption of all that is.
Only the undead may speak his name (the living will be turned into undead if they speak it). Instead, he is known as
Raja Kelabu in subcontinental Dabusen;
Imvi in eastern Taggarus;
Mōʻī Hina Hina in parts of the Island Bridge;
Unega Didatinehi in western Palhur; and more.
During the last
War of the Gods, he was forced to flee back to the
Grey Lands. He is not sealed; merely biding his time with his bride,
the Grey Queen.
