Description Nautral wereboars bear a striking resemblance to their animalsake in their normal form. Infected wereboars appear as they did before being infected in normal form. In boar form, they appear to be large versions of their given animal, usually a particularly carnivorous breed. In mixed form, they appear to be anthropomorphic boars, with huge tusks and bristles.
Procreation Kaprothropy can be transmitted sexually. Like werebears, wereboars lose control during battle, transforming and becoming unstoppable, but they also lose control when overcome with lust as well. During these times, infection rate in pseudohumans or other susceptible races is 70%.
Magic One in a million have soul magic. One in a five hundred thousand have heart magic. Mind magic is possible. Body magic is very effective. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers

Wereboars can shift form between "human," boar, & mixed forms. Each form has advantages: "human" form blends with society, boar form has all the advantages the boar has (tusks, bristles, strength, berzerking, speed), & the mixed form combines the two.

Wereboars lose control and transform during battle or while overcome with lust. They are brutal fighters and rapists.

During other periods, they can control the shift.

Wereboars have heigtened battle senses & weak wills. They are very expansive eaters. They can see in the dark, and they tend to burrow if they are out in the wild.

If a wound is not made by brass, it will heal quickly. They are extremely resistant to disease & poisons.

Wereboars also have the ability to control wild pigs and communicate with them with their shrill squeals.
Weaknesses Brass, magic, or faith is required to kill a wereboar. Love magic or faith is especially effective. Romantic love can curb their transformations.
Culture

Wereboars are raiders and warriors. They live in small tribes, usually as hunter-gatherers. If they rape someone of another village or people, they usually kidnap them and bring them back as prisoners to the tribe. Once the victim has transformed for the first time, the indoctinration will usually be complete. There are many fights within the tribe, but rarely fatal, and the main form of mating is through raping each other (male on female or female on male). There is a stigma to consensual sex and romance in the tribes, but any form of rape, even same-sex, is accepted.

Outside of wereboar society, they tend to be mercenaries and soldiers, pirates and bandits, where their brutality is more acceptable. Those that have found ways to live in less brutal society usually use magic to offset their loss of control if they have not fallen in love.

It is believed the firs twereboar was made through a curse on a man or woman who raped a warlock's daughter.

There is an Ages old distrut between Riverkin and wereboars.

There are wereboar variants around the world: common wereboars live from Jesenya to northern Ranu, and have tribes in Palhur, but they come originally from Ansulym; Western Matian wereboars are a little smaller than common; Frescarans are very rare; Danuans are of moderate size; Talunese have bigger heads; R'sheedi wereboars actually live in Ranu and Dabusen; Windkin [see also: Barbary] wereboars live in a small tribe in the deserts; Taggaran wereboars comprise three or four groups; Vimalan wereboars have long bristled manes; Javadan wereboars are a little smaller; Dabusenese wereboars are light brown and maned; Unbulese are huge; Tenzanese are yellowish brown; Coleshi are smaller; and banded have a white band on their noses and live in Gamayaran.
