| History | In the Age of Legends, shortly before the fall of the Fingers of Deserel, the Prophetess of the Webweaver gained enormous power & began recruiting a cult to worship her undead cousin. She helped eradicate the vestiges of Deserel's power & used her power to begin to gather strength for her cousin. By the First Dark Age of First Shem, she had forged an Empire on Ansulym called Srisia, which she would slowly but surely build into the most powerful Empire in the history of the world. The Web, as it is known to its members, exists independently of the Empire, much as the Order of the Chrysanthemum operates independent of Tara'hin--though the formation of said Empires is a purpose of either group. The Web works behind the scenes around the world to influence events to their own liking. |
