Ranic trees that towers over all other trees, especially in Idangar. They are homes to turuls, and cocidians climb them to hunt in the skies. The trees are seven to nine "layers" tall, each layer leading out to a part of the sky and new prey. Many stories are told of cocidian princesses or princes who get lost in the trees and must be rescued by their lovers. It grows from a horse or reindeer, and it is common on mountain tops. Some trees have magical gates to the moons or sun.
