| Description | Usually an apparently living being dressed in the latest fashions, but when they have not eaten recently, they become more and more horrifying, slowly devolving into vermin-infested corpses, rotting, desiccated, broken. |
| Corruption | Ultimiladri are only ever intentionally created by the criminals who plan to become one. |
| Esoterica | Ultimiladri are beings of parasitic energy and msawhat. They retain most of their powers from life except for those of qi, the gates, or heavenly essences. They often learn new arts in undeath, including those of shadow, black nommos, quaestus, mystery, emotional resonances, infernum, blood energy, vile energy, uafas, Raesian energy, Damaskian powers, many forms of aether (including brown), viscera, misfortune, flux, mansam, cacophony, fortune, spirits, paradox, complexity, arnum, and entropy. |
| Special Powers | If someone knows they are near an ultimaladra, they will feel uneasy. Ultimiladri can control vermin, which they use to gather tokens belonging to individuals. These tokens are then eaten by the ultimaladra, which allows them to consume the souls of those the tokens belonged to. After thirteen years, an ultimaladra can control not just vermin, but weaker undead as well. These undead cannot bring them tokens, but they serve in other ways (as guards, servants, etc.). Every soul an ultimaladra devours gives them a year of appearing as they did when they were alive. For every extra soul they devour within that year, they gain an extra power, up to thirteen different powers, including but not limited to invisibility, sensing wealth, blinding light, ear-drum rupturing scream, parasitic swarm summoning, bloodstealing, thoughtstealing, burning coins, confusing ventriloquism, perfect mimicry, stinging sand, cold gaze, malnourishing touch, paralyzing touch, etc. These powers can only be kept after the year is up if the ultimaladra has infused them into a piece of jewelry that they keep on them by killing someone (without taking their soul) and washing the jewelry in the blood of their victim. Every ultimaladra has a piece of jewelry that they used in their own creation. This piece of jewelry contains their corrupted lifeforce. It is protected by thirteen wards, each one a deadly and painful curse. |
| Necromancy | To become an ultimaladra, one must live a life of crime but never or rarely get caught. One must amass wealth in doing so. And one must have power, authority, over other criminals. They must then peform this ritual (30): Then, one must use a portion of one's wealth to buy a piece of expensive jewelry, bring an underling to a private spot, then kill them and have them eaten by a vermin of some sort. Then, one must use the remaining blood to wash the jewelry. The criminal must then die without losing the piece of jewelry, without being caught, or without the vermin dying. When the criminal dies, the vermin must be buried with them. To control an ultimaladra, one must steal their original piece of jewelry. To summon one, one must capture and kill a vermin that is of the same species of their primary vermin and speak the name of the ultimaladra. To capture and control an ultimaladra, one must steal their jewelry and keep it in a jar of blood and grave dirt for thirteen days. |
| Sending | Destroying the original jewelry with a special object that represents somehow justice against the crimes of the ultimaladra will send it. |
| Weaknesses | Light of diligence and euergasia are especially effective. Qi, the gates, and heavenly essences will also send an ultimaladra. |
| Behavior | Ultimiladri continue to run their criminal enterprises after their deaths. They often mask the fact that they are dead at all, using their powers to remain hidden. |
| Dominion Culture | In the Campionese Dominion, ultimiladri are the ruling class, the criminal masterminds who control the vast network of ne'er-do-wells in the city. |
| Other Dominions | Ultimiladri are rare in other Dominions, but their thirteen powers differ when they do end up in another one. |
| Mortal Interactions | Most mortals have no idea ultimiladri exist. Those that do are usually criminals who either serve them or fear them. |
| Afterlife | Ultimiladri can find no redemption. They spend Ages in the in-between, then end up in the Hells or the Grey Lands. |
