• Gabe hesitates a moment, then shakes his head, wondering why she's not really recognizing him...on a hunch, he takes the hat off to examine it.

A_Murray then sighs, and moves on with her beat. "Don't fuck with me, Corbannon."

• Gabe looks back up at her. "...I wasn't, but my apologies anyway."
• Gabe goes on about his business, eyeing the hat off and on.

Geminid And you both hear the growls. Three of them, at once.

A_Murray guns out.

• Gabe spins in that direction, tensing.

A_Murray can I see the source?

Geminid The Paladin runs in the direction of them. "Everyone stay back!"

Geminid You see, in fact, a wall.

A_Murray "Corbannon with me!"

Gabe "Here!" he runs to join her.

A_Murray "We witness this."

Geminid You see the wall explode into dust right before the paladin steps away from it to look for a way outside.

• Gabe nods, completely serious now.

Geminid The paladin falls onto his ass, and through the dust walks a lion with thick, black fur and three heads.

• Gabe stares in shock and awe. "What is /that/...?"

Geminid It breathes deeply as it walks in, and clouds of brownish yellow gas pour out of its mouths. Its eyes are like pools of oblivion.

A_Murray "And why do we have their attention..."

• Geminid says, "The Triheaded Lion, Beast of Apocalypse."

A_Murray "Options?" to Geminid.

• Gabe listens, not taking his eyes off the lion.

Geminid The lion casually grabs the paladin by the foot and eats him alive.

• Geminid says, "Run. Die."

A_Murray "Run."

• A_Murray does so.
• Geminid nods and clambers onto Angela.
• Gabe takes his eyes off the lion for that and runs with Angela. "What about the others on set?"

A_Murray "They have a survival instinct."

• Gabe just nods and leaves it at that. "Where are we going, aside from away?"

A_Murray "We'll decide when we're away."

Gabe "Works for me."

• A_Murray calls the light church and explains what she witnessed.

A_Murray "We have to find a way to contact the others. We're sleeping at my place tonight."

Gabe "Alright...I don't know how to contact Tilluel or the gnome, and the director's out with friends somewhere." he tightens his hold on his hat at Donna's name but nods regardless.

A_Murray "Should we try to spot them coming back here?"

A_Murray er, "back to set?" not "here."

Gabe "It'd probably be the easiest way. Stake out the entrance an' wait."

A_Murray "We might also see something useful to our...predicament."

Gabe "There's that, too." a pause. "If this is gonna continue, think it'd be smart to sleep in a different spot each night? just in case?"

A_Murray "I can agree."

A_Murray "I still want to know more."

Gabe "Same here. Let's go."

A_Murray so we set up to stake out.

Geminid There's a camp of protestors on eithe r side of you.

A_Murray Good.

A_Murray "Plenty of cover if it comes this way."

A_Murray quietly to Gabe.

• Gabe is careful not to put the hat back on. he nods. "If it does, what then? run again and find somewhere else to keep an eye out?"

A_Murray "yes."

A_Murray "Something on that lot is drawing these creatures."

Gabe "Any ideas on finding out what?"

Geminid Tilluel approaches.

A_Murray "there were live herons among the props. Maybe something else isn't as fake as it appears."

• A_Murray points to her.

A_Murray "Come on." gets up to go intercept her.

Gabe "Maybe." he follows, thinking.

• Tilluel 's face darkens when she sees Angela

Tilluel "Did you hit Alice?"

A_Murray "Yes. Come on."

• A_Murray tries to lead her to our stakeout point.

A_Murray to Gabe, "Fill her in."

A_Murray wait. that yes should be "not recently."

Tilluel "I will /not/ go with you. How could you? She's just a child!"

• Gabe was about to speak, but ultimately remained silent and is now looking between the two women.

• A_Murray stares at her for half a second, then Gestures to Gabe. "Fill her in." to Tilluel. "We have big things to account for tonight."
• A_Murray turns and walks back to the stakeout point.
• Gabe sighs. "Listen, Tilluel, you remember the hellhound from last night?"
• Gabe speaks softly.

Tilluel "You should be held accountable! How could you--?" she watches her walk away, utterly flabbergasted and sort of sad

• Tilluel looks at him. "Yes."

Gabe "This time it's a three-headed lion of the apocalypse. We're trying to catch everyone before they get back to the lot and something worse happens. Will you give us a hand?"

Tilluel "This time? I don't understand."

Gabe "I mean instead of a hellhound showing up at the lot we've got a lion..." he pauses. "You do remember, right? the First Hellhound?"

Geminid Sirens blaring, the police arrive.

• Gabe looks up at the noise, unconsciously looking for his father.

Tilluel "There's a lion there now? Where's Geminid?"

Geminid Silver cloaks pour out. Geminid was on Angela still.

Gabe "He's with Angela."

Geminid Other police pour into the studio.

• A_Murray studies that, thinking.

• Gabe looks distracted and worried, trying to see if his father's among those arriving.

A_Murray "Can you blend in with them with that hat?"

Gabe "For now, we watch and wait, and try to keep the others safe..." he blinks up at Angela. "...I can try." he looks at the hat, then puts it on.

A_Murray "If the lion is still there, full retreat to here."

Gabe "Right." he goes to try and blend in and observe."

Geminid Inside, the police are all over the crime scene, but there's no blood and only the hole in the wall as evidence.

Geminid The priests are praying over everything, and the Silver Cloaks are on the prowl for the lion, which is not apparently present.

Geminid Two cops are talking to an aberration with a huge eye and a mop.

• Gabe tries to listen to everything he can, hoping that his father's not lion-hunting.
• Tilluel turns away from Angela and watches the nearby streets for the other approaching.

A_Murray "Where do you live?"

Alsa "I'd offer my place if ... if it was mine. Or we could scam our way into a hotel room, I suppose."

Gabe "Got an apartment in El Dimeo."

• A_Murray nods. "I assure you it's larger than mine."

A_Murray "We have to tell Grippytop and Higgins, though."
