With Aeramon Swan's ascension to Championship, the light-faithful paladins of the world had a new leader. Now, there are five main branches of the "paladin corps":
Servitors of Light, or paladins directly devoted to the Champion
Knights of Dhun, or paladins in service of Dhun, lead by the Paladin-King*
The Argentine Order, or the select few paladins serving Matrim Argent, a Servitor of Sallyra
Knights Mendicant, or paladins pulled from the monastic orders of light, lead by the High Abbott of the Soul
Dedicated Warriors, or paladins pulled from primitive tribes who follow the Mother of Light, usually lead by their tribal leaders
Each of which answers ultimately to the Champion, but only the first of which are his Servitors.
A paladin is always granted a holy sword, a holy steed, a primary duty or quest, and special god-granted powers.
- When there is no Paladin-King, the Knights of Dhun answer to their Holy General, who they view as an equal to the non-Paladin King of Dhun. During parts of Dhun's history, the position of Holy General has willingly followed the King, been politically tied to the King, been appointed by the King, or openly fought against the King.
The Servitors are lead by Hand Sir
Daniel Day of Dhun.
