Grey Moon

A moon with grey and blue stone, crystals, and ice. It has a light atmosphere and is susceptible to strange weathers. It has some odd regions with alien plants, and some places where it is arid and nearly barren.

Craters

There are tens of thousands of craters on the Grey Moon. These are just a few of the notable ones.

• Alenka: a major crater in Severozahod where the tortoise folk dwell.
• Alja: the widest crater, located in Yogozahod. A few lunar mesquite folk dwell here in small communities.
• Damijan: the crater formed seven years ago where the krousians have established their city-state Vurmaq.
• Jaka: the deepest crater, in Severeovzhod near the south pole, where the nightgaunts have their dark country Hathaua.
• Marjanca: the second deepest crater, located in Yugozahod.
• Polonca: a major crater in Severovzhod where the wolf spider folk dwell.
• Shpela: the third deepest and second widest crater, located in Yogovzhod.

Rilles

These are merely the most notable rilles (the large lunar canyons). All rilles have dusky moon shrimp folk living as nomads.

• Rima Dolgo: considered the most ancient and sacred rille, located in Severozahod.
• Rima Hiteti: the longest rille, located in Yugovzhod, where the netopir country Nazjin is.
• Rima Jarek: the deepest rille, located in Severovzhod, where slug folk are known to dwell.
• Rima Soteska: the widest rille, located in Severozahod, where lunar mesquite folk have small communities.
• Rima Zleb: the straighest rille, located in Yugozahod.

Rupes

Lunar esarpments. There are a few dozen of them, but these are the most notable.

• Rupes Narashchajoche: a massive escarpment taking up a chunk of Severovzhod where the netopir country Roji.
• Rupes Vishavje: a smaller escarpment in Severozahod where the snake folk nomads live.
• Rupes Visoko: the largest escarpment, located in Yugovzhod.

Promontoria

Mountainous capes, usually along the lunar maria.

• Promontorium Hamus: a mountain cape in Yugozahod where the visok country Domovina is, along the Mare Ogledalo.
• Promontorium Kavelj: the second longest cape, located in Yugovzhod, along Mare Siva.
• Promontorium Krempelj: lunar mesquite folk live in small communities in this Severovzhod promontorium, along the Mare Zhar.
• Promontorium Lok: the longest cape, along the Mare Modra, in Severozahod.
• Promontorium Temno: a southern cape in Severovzhod where shadow palm folk dwell, along the Mare Tuljenje.
• Promontorium Veriga: a small cape along Mare Koraki where the patagon giants have some communities, in Yugozahod.

Maria

The lunar maria are dark areas on the Grey Moon.

• Mare Koraki: a large mare in Yugozahod where patagon giants live in small communities.
• Mare Kushchar: a small mare in Severozahod where the skink folk dwell.
• Mare Modra: the largest maria, in Severozahod, where New Alba is located.
• Mare Ogledalo: a major maria in Yugozahod where Zelentravn is, ringed by Promontorium Hamus.
• Mare Poti: the second largest maria, located in Severozahod, where the srebro nomads dwell.
• Mare Prah: a major maria in Yugovzhod where the chinchilla folk dwell.
• Mare Siva: a major maria in Yugovzhod.
• Mare Skok: a maria in Yugozahod where moon rabbit folk dwell in small communities.
• Mare Sonchno: a maria in Yugovzhod where golden yucca folk get lots of sunlight.
• Mare Tretji: a major maria in Severovzhod where the tricow folk dwell.
• Mare Tuljenje: a major maria in Severovzhod where wolf folk dwell.
• Mare Volnati: a small maria in Severovzhos where sheep folk dwell.
• Mare Zhar: a maria in Severovzhod where lunar mesquite folk dwell.

Wrinkle Ridges

Tectonic features on the lunar maria.

• Dorsa Krushi: a small wrinkle ridge in Severovzhod where lunar mesquite folk dwell in Mare Zhar.
• Dorsa Najstarejshi: the second largest wrinkle ridge, located in Yugozahod, in Mare Skok.
• Dorsa Plavut: the largest wrinkle ridge, located in Yugovzhod, where the guba sculpted countries Izklesan are, in Mare Siva.
• Dorsa Ribe: a wrinkle ridge in Severozahod where a handful of srebro nomads live in Mare Poti.
• Dorsa Rochaj: a major wrinkle ridge in Severovzhod where the night monkey folk dwell in Mare Tretji.

Crystal Fields

The crystal fields are expanses of blue lunar crystals full of lunar energy. They exist near the poles.

• Vitra Lahek: the largest crystal field, located near the south pole in Severovzhod.
• Vitra Lesketanje: a far-northern field in Yugozahod where a crystal folk refugee camp is located.
• Vitra Lomijo: a crystal field in Severozahod that has the Temple of Mother Moon.
• Vitra Prizma: a crystal field in Yugovzhod completely in shadow and covered in ice.

Flower Field

A single flower field exists on the Grey Moon, inexplicably within a region where light never shines.

• Cvetenje: the mysterious flowering field in the dark of Yugovzhod where bee folk and fluers dwell.

Forests

Two major forests exist on the Grey Moon, made up of magical lunar trees that need no water or air.

• Silva Cvetenja: a strange forest where fluers dwell, located in Severozahod.
• Silva Polmesec: the largest ballaman forest in Yugozahod where wolf folk, ballaman tree folk, and forest folk dwell in the country Veligoz is, as well as the Ailanthan banxring folk refugee camp.

Bluefrost

The bluefrost are the frozen polar zones.

• Lovishcha: the bluefrost region around the south pole where the utakan country Prepoved is.
• Zledenel: the frostling country Modrizr is located in this bluefrost region near the north pole.

Mountain Ranges

These are merely the notable mountain ranges of the Grey Moon.

• Montes Gnezdaj: a large mountain range in Yugozahod where the grey eagle folk and lode willow folk dwell in the country Orlovjezdo.
• Montes Izbochen: a small mountain range in Severovzhod where the dragon Zrcalnizmaj dwells.
• Montes Napitnino: a mountain range in Severozahod where the surori live. Mesecinae live here as nomads.
• Montes Razpon: a major mountain range in Yugovzhod where the teal panther folk dwell in their country Leglo.
• Montes Rezanje: the mountain range in Severovzhod where the sawfly folk country Gnezdo is.
• Montes Vishje: the far northern mountain range in Yugovzhod where the star palm folk dwell.
• Montes Votlo: the mountain range in Severozahod where the moonbear folk dwell in their country Brlog.

Cryovolcanoes

There are many cryovolcanoes on the Grey Moon, but these are three notable ones.

• Mons Bruhanji: the cryovolcano near Promontorium Hamus, dormant for many eons.
• Mons Bruhati: an active cryovolcano in Montes Izbochen.
• Mons Sprostiti: an active cryovolcano at the south pole.

Ice Caves

Caves in the solid bluefrost ice.

• Spelunca Hladno: a massive cave network in the northern polar regions.
• Spelunca Ohlajeno: a smaller cave network in the southern polar regions.

Sublunar Realm

The layers of the Grey Moon below the surface.

• Spelunca Gliva: a layer near the surface where myconians have their country.
• Spelunca Hangat: a layer near the core where magma folk have their homes.
• Spelunca Luska: the second layer down where beetle folk dwell.
• Spelunca Predor: the third layer down where the kopash dwell.
• Spelunca Rudniki: the metal-rich layer where the living metals are, above Hangat and below Predor.

Other

• Awans, weta folk, luna moth folk, and burning laurel folk are found all over.
