Qasmuna Grimoire

A varied collection made by the wizardess Qasmuna in Mahad, who sought to keep track of the magicks of all the cultures of the continent. The grimoire was lost in the deep desert.

Qasmuna

A djinn who grew up in the deep desert, Qasmuna was taught magic by her great grandmother, herself an accomplished wizardess. When she was nine, her family convinced a passing caravanserai to take her on because they had run out of food and water during particularly hard times. She worked as a servant for the trader's wife for many years, but her interest in magic never faded. After a few years, the trader's wife paid for her to attend Simon Academy, where she excelled. She returned to the trader's wife after she finished her education, determined to pay her back. The trader's wife saw in Qasmuna incredible power and sought to use it to help her business, but as time went on, Qasmuna realized she was being used. She left, seeking her original family in the deep desert. There, she found her deep love of the desert and a need to gather the spells that defined her continent.

History

It took Qasmuna the rest of her life to finish the grimoire, but for the last six years or so of her life, she became world renowned for her magic. Many came to study from her and learn her spells, but when she died, her possessions were taken to the deep desert and buried in an unmarked grave.
