Phaedran is a sollarian warrior who joined the Dunerunners because he wished to dwell on Shem. He gave up his place on the sun and came to Shem, seeking a place where he belonged. He went to the Champion, and she was immediately accepting of him.

His current mission is to help facilitate the fall of Harkan the Black.
