One of the most notorious murderesses in the history of Evernorth, Contessa Opaska Lheredh killed her entire staff of servants, slowly and in secret, for three hundreds years. Over 200 servants died before she was found out. Even in the brutal society of Evernorth, serial murder is frowned upon. She was arrested, tried, convicted, and... simply vanished. Rumors tell of her being killed in prison, but the truth is her inventive sociopathy brought her to the attention of the Order of White Winter, who chose to use her need to kill to their advantage. She is connected to the Champion of Winter by 231 generations.

She remains unaffected by the elf-killer disease, but she does not care if it happens.

She was tested by the Order with a trial of deprivation. She was sealed in a glacier for 100 days, and if she survived, she would be a Knight. She slept there, dreaming strange and terrible dreams, but the one that stood out was that of a snow lion in a cave. The lion had blood on its mouth from where it had eaten its mate and young, and Opaska knew it was going to eat her. She drew her sword and engaged it in a fight, and soon, she was torn and bleeding. She lie there in her dream, knowing that if she died here, if the nightmare ended that way, she would awaken, and her conscious body would die of the deprivation. She pulled herself together by force of will and attacked the lion once more, driving her sword into its heart.

She awoke much later, lion's blood all over her, being hailed for surviving the test. She immediately proclaimed her sigil to be the Snow Lion.

Opaska is the leader of the three elf unit sent out to kill the owner of the Gelid Blood.
