Nathy is one of the most ancient members of the Violet Grith. He lived in the west, but was forced to flee after he made a grievous mistake. Like most fairies, he had the ability to vanish by speaking his True Name into a mirror, and like most fairies, if he did not retrieve it within 30 seconds, the Name became vulnerable. He mistook his timing when he was younger, and something powerful tried to steal it. He managed to escape and retain his True Name, but henceforth, that being of power was hunting him. He went somewhere seeking a place to hide, and he found the Abdit. The two became partners in (literal) crime, and ever since, he has been the Abdit's best adviser, and the Abdit has kept him well hidden from that which hunts him to this day.
