Mnemnon was born a judge in Zurash, but he committed the six unpardonable crimes. He was stripped of every power and of his inmortality. He was given three choices: death, banishment, or humanity. He chose the latter. He left Zurash and took a raft across the Altic Ocean to Ranu. He struggled through the wilderness for six days and six nights, and he came to the end of his strength. In his agony, he had a vision, a vision of a great pallid worm, a massive beast with hooks ripping his skin, and an army that would sweep over the world at his command. In his extremity, he begged for aid from any who would listen.

He awoke three days later, his skin torn, his flesh pecked by birds, his eyes eaten by worms, and his heart ripped out. He thought he had become an undead monster, but he discovered through arcane means that he lived somehow. He found no further answers for many years, wandering the world as a monster, until he met a man named Lucas Tove. Tove was a curseweaver, and he told Mnemnon that the former judge was cursed. He offered to help him, and Mnemnon accepted. He became a student of curseweaving for many years, learning from Lucas Tove to scorn and distrust warlocks.

He spent a decade learning, but he grew impatient. He sought other knowledge, and soon, he began to be attracted to the forbidden, the power of the warlocks, the casters of curses. He sought them out, and he quit the tutelage of Lucas Tove for the tutelage of a Circle of SIx. He spent another decade learning from them, and in the tradition of warlocks, he chose the option of murdering his teachers when the time came to graduate. Instead of building his own Circle of Six, however, he sought other courses of action.

He spent a decade each on studying alchemy, void science, bloodbonding, and theology, breaking with his teachers to find new knowledge. And then he met Mikhail Mao.

And then he learned the thing he was looking for the whole time. He learned about Apotheosis. He joined Consensus. He became their best agent, and for six decades, he served. He used his arts to rebuild his own body, and he became one of the best agents in the Divine Hierarchies... And then he vanished.

In the year after Starfall, he made his move. He used his powers, his connections, his every resource, and he did something completely unfathomable: he raised a monstrous flesh golem to Divinity, and to Archonhood.

Mnemnon is one of the most feared beings in the world, and it is whispered by some that he was the cause of Starfall, though he himself denies it--indeed, he notes that if he had caused Starfall, he would most certainly be taking credit.
