Pronounced "lay-zhi."

A leszi is an immortal animal that shifts shapes to suit its needs (all leszi shift both shape & gender at will). They are sometimes referred to as Forest Lords, as one of the favored forms is a black-furred man-like ape creature with horns, hooves, & a tail. In this form, he often carries a huge cudgel severl times the size of his body. It is limited to taking the forms of animals or plants.

Leszi hate woodchoppers & tend to target them in small campaigns of mischief. It is said that some druids learn magic from leszi--not mind or body magic, but rather, soul magic (an impossibility).
