| Description | Indaloos are anthropomorphic perch. They have fish-like lower bodies with spots and dark, horizontal bars that fade as they go toward the front. Their scales are rough. Their bodies are long and rounded. Their eyes are lidless, and they have many fins: two pectoral (beneath their arms), two pelvic, one spiny dorsal, one soft dorsal (which may be connected to the spiny), a spiny anal fin, and a soft caudal fin. There are three races of indaloo: yellow, redfin, and mountain. Yellow indaloos have pale yellow scales with bright green or orange anal fins. Their 6-8 dark bars intensify near mating season in males, and juveniles might not have them at all. Redfins are greenish with red pelvic and anal fins and 5-9 dark bars, and mountain indaloos look much the same, but with darker tones. |
| Procreation | With each other, via eggs. |
| Magic | One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | All indaloos are psionic. Indaloos have an operculum protecting their gills, meaning there is no bonus to stun/wound if they are struck there. They have lateral lines that allow them to sense vibrations in the water. |

| Weaknesses | Indaloos cannot breathe on land, and they cannot survive in brackish or saltwater for more than a few days. |
| Culture | Indaloos live in deep lakes and rivers in small communities. They are notoriously hermetic, and many will be found living alone in deeper waters. They leave their children to fend for themselves from very young ages, assuming they learn via psionics. |
