The largest animal in existence, the great behemoth is slightly larger than the biggest dragons or morags. Only Divine Creations & horrors are larger.

They appear to be a cross between a bear & a leopard, with dense, coarse violet or blue fur, with bony ridges on its back, huge fangs & claws, & a tail like that of a stegosaurus. Only ten of these creatures exist, or so it is reckoned. One of them, very famously, was possessed by a dread lord, & thus, the great behemoths have gotten a reputation as evil, clever monsters, of which they are neither.
