In Second Shem's year 1003 of the Age of the Wounding, Thannas Faebrenner, the Silver Fisher King Reborn, ascended to the status of Messiah of Life, and named Ennasrion Farolan as one of his apostles. At the time, Ennasrion was the bearer of the Sword of Stars. Thannas stained the Sword with his own blood to imbue it with elysian energy, and Ennasrion thereafter called the Sword "Kingsblood". It gained the following powers at that time:
- Against Undeath or Stillbirth: +27/+27 (+30/+30 with starfire)
- Against Other Evils: +21/+21 (+24/+24 with starfire)
- Bearer regenerates when it is drawn.
- Bearer speaks with apostolic authority when it is drawn.
