Formidius came to the colonies long ago. A major noble in the empire of Furich Amol, he does not do administrative ruling, but he is active in the military (having the rank of general, though he doesn't seem to use it). He is instead a power behind the scenes, using his influence to make sure those he wants are in power. He has recently had problems with the governors of Concordia and New Alba, and he is seeking to have them replaced. He lives on the Grey Moon.
