Bodyguard to the Counterblast

Dipaka was a child when the first Counterblast saved them from slavery. They were secreted away back to his homeland, where they grew up with distant relatives, but they always remembered the woman who carried them away from the hell that was their life. As an adult, they found themself working for their relatives when they heard the news of the death of the first Counterblast, five years after it had happened. They dropped everything and left for Haenor that day. Arriving a year later (after many tribulations), they made contact with the remains of the Blue Grith and helped them with their work, finding their anger and outrage fueled by the injustice they saw still thriving in the place of their birth (though not their "homeland"). When they met the new Counterblast, they vowed to serve her. They were there the day she was shot, during the Camisade, and they also nearly died that day. Now, they have a deep scar on the other side of their face (opposite what the Counterblast has), and they stand resolute as her personal bodyguard.
