There are many supernatural coyotes:
- Biwos (nzwara murazvo) [apache] coyotes of western Palhur with powerful nzwara murazvo that allows them influence over other animas
- Búattee (b'qar) [crow] coyotes of western Palhur known for their hunting abilities
- Koo'oh (menab'e) [arapaho] coyotes of western Palhur that are imbued with menab'e by what they eat, usually mineral deposits
- Mq'ii (unfugl) [navajo] the powerful trickster coyotes of western Palhur's deserts
- Pokhoya (dream energy) [hopi] coyote dream messengers
