| Description | Constrictors appear to be semi-anthropomorphized boas. Their heads are snake-like, their torsos are humanoid, and their arms are humanoid. They have no legs, for their lower body is that of a snake. They are very long and tall, standing at 7' and their tails totaling them at 15'. The females are larger. They vary between cream, brown, grey, green, and rainbow colorations. Some have spurs, which are larger in males, said to be vestigial limbs. |

| Special Powers | All ophidian races have skills with sneaking and seduction. Ophidian races also have knowledges of medicines and poisons outside their own, and they tend to have much plant and fungal lore. Furthermore, they have a powerful connection to the Divine, giving them a natural bonus to faith rolls. One in every hundred thousand has some of the following abilities: immortality, cloudwalking, space survival, rainbow crafting, spirit speech, one time rebirth, commanding presence, soul-shaping, waterwalking, one time resurrect, horns, invisibility, thunder-making, rain call, unpierceable scales, shining scales, breath of disease, and know own death. All ophidian races are excellent hunters. All ophidian races have a higher probability of left-handedness. Constrictors do not have venomous bites, and their poison knowledge is weaker because of it, but their medical knowledge remains equal to other ophidian races. To make up for this, one in a thousand can craft rainbows. Constrictors suffocate their victims by wrapping their long tails around them. They do not crush their victims. A constrictor can swallow most prey whole, unhinging their lower, rigid jaws. Their bite is impressively powerful. Constrictors can sense heat with their lips. They have decent nightvision. |
| Weaknesses | Skill magic or faith can harm them. They molt twice a year, being vulnerable for two weeks. |
| Culture | Constrictors live quiet, solitary lives in tropical forests, finding places in the early morning sun to bask in and hunting at night. They are powerful, but also hard to anger. Crossing a constrictor will earn the interloper a harsh vendetta from their victim, but it is not easy to manage. |
