Description: They appear to be massive, black goats, dripping with void.

Procreation: Black goats are very fertile. They can breed with anything. All children will be black goats. If the mother is not a black goat, very likely, the mother will die of void poisoning.

Magic: There is no magic use amongst the black goats. They cannot use faith. They are creatures of the void.

Special Powers: Magic does not affect black goats. They simply nullify it, gaining, somehow, sustenance from the resulting void. Mundane fire does not affect them, nor does much of any elemental attack. Weapons work fine, but any magical or blessed weapon that strikes them will be left mundane afterward. The goats can breath a black mist that nullifies any magical or blessed item it hits, & can kill magen, ruin wild talents, & generally upset magical races in general. Their horns are tough as iron & dripping with void, & will break magical objects easily. They can be controlled with void science or faith at difficulty of 16.

Weaknesses: Due to the void involved, only metamagic of greater power than the individual goats is capable of destroying a black goat in the manner intended here.

Culture: Black goats are vicious monsters who seek out & devour magical or blessed items, & love to kill magen & wild talents & eat their flesh. They are generally solitary, but sometimes a powerful black goat will lead a small herd. They often pretend to be normal goats, grazing on the mountain pastures, while non-demons are around, &, due to the high concentration of void, they are indetectable by most magical means.

Notables: The Mother of a Thousand Young, Queen of the Black Goats (sound familiar?), Detestor of Magic (not so familiar?), dwells in the Void, awaiting a gate large enogh to allow her entry to Shem.
