Arland Barrow Battisto, Barry to his friends and enemies and strangers, grew up on Merukis and learned much as his brother J.D. did--fighting, survival, the city, the sea, adventure. But his tastes lie directly in the hustle and bustle of the city. After ruling in his father's absence, he learned much of politics and the ways of the city governance, but eventually, time caught up tohim, and the call of seeing other cities around the world got to him. He and his brother set out for adventure.
