Description

Badgermen appear to be anthropomorphic badgers. They are tall (7' tall). They have short legs, grizzled fur, and triangular faces. Their fur tends to be brown, grey, or reddish with white and black markings.

Procreation

Follows the mother.

Magic

One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.

Special Powers

Badgermen have very strong jaws and claws. They are known for their tenacity and ferocity, and they can fluff up to intimidate victims. Their sense of smell is acute, but their eyesight is poor. They are excellent diggers. Their bark can intimidate rocks.

Weaknesses

Wind magic or faith can hurt them. They get sluggish in cold weather.

Culture

Badgermen live in great clans, usually, though some are solitary figures. Their clans are extensive, living in above ground villages that have huge burrows beneath.

Badgermen are cautious folk, never quick to action. They love peaceful times, being at home, being with family, and being comfortable. They only get aggressive if their territory or people are threatened, and then they become very, very dangerous foes. To outsiders, they are very gruff, but not violent.
