Daughter of a Dwonnic lord and the Snakemother, Artemesia was born to the Divine blood and joined the faith at an early age. She loves her mother more than anything, worships her. On First Shem, she was the foremost priestess of the Snakemother. She ruled Caer Dwonnum from the shadows for Ages, and when her mother died, she fell into despair for many, many centuries. When she recovered, she worked actively against the Bloodmother. When the Webweaver rose, she went to him and made a deal: she would carry on her mother's faith, but not oppose him, if he did not attack her followers. He agreed, finding her useful.

As the Ages passed, she built the Snake Cult amongst the Dwonnic elves and nagas and other old races of Darkness. She created a powerful force that gained prominence in the world. She continued to work from the shadows, until the Eschatonic Wars, when she sold her support to the Webweaver in exchange for his support to her cult. Her support earned her a place in his court during the Time Between, and one Second Shem, she took advantage of the Godless Times to rebuild her cult.

Currently, she is working to defeat the elf-killer disease, exploring her options, and speaking with her powerful contacts. She is currently in Vesturia, seeking aid from the Night-Empress.
