Dionysus: Where do you go to snoop for Kavian first? Bloodhound is following your lead for now.

Taka: er...well, I have no idea where to start, but I figure somewhere in the city's a fair bet...maybe the Archduchess's palace?

Dionysus: It's a military compound.

Dionysus: Actually, you /do/ recall seeing him in the moonstone in a rather opulent setting, so bear that in mind.

Taka: Hm. actually, as I have no idea where that might be, I'll pull it out again and look for him to get a better idea of where to go.

Dionysus: He is standing on the road just outside of town, eyes watering, talking to three interesting young men.

Taka will head in that direction, then.

Dionysus: Bloodhound says, "That was easy."

Taka chuckles softly. "Luckily. I have some good friends."

Dionysus: You reach the edge of town. One of the men has red skin, wears no weapons, & stands six foot tall, broad at the shoulder.

Dionysus: The second has flames for eyes, wears a deep red cloak, & carries a small sword at his side.

Dionysus: The third has skin like steel & makes you feel deep sorrow just looking at him. He has no weapons, either.

Dionysus: He is also naked.

Taka: And I take it I recognize none of them?

Dionysus: Kavian stands before them, saying, in an emotion choked voice, "Good luck, sons. Bring her back alive."

Dionysus: No, you don't.

Taka stands respectfully to one side until he's done.

Dionysus: The one with fiery eyes nods in your direction. "Father, we are being watched."

Dionysus: He looks, frowns, & says, "Come forward." His sorrow seems to lessen as command fills his voice.

Dionysus: Bloodhound sighs.

Taka bows her head respectfully and approaches. "We're friends, sir...sent by the Alpha Wolf."

Dionysus: He looks you up & down, then says in wolf -Is that so?-

Taka looks back at him and answers in the same language -It is. I am Lead Scout, and this is Bloodhound.- she gestures to Gas.

Dionysus: Bloodhound bows.

Dionysus: Kavian says, -I was Stormbringer. I led the Pack. These are Lightningfist, Fireeyes, & Swordmaker.-

Taka bows respectfully to each in turn. -An honor. I was raised with tales of you, Stormbringer.-

Dionysus: -You do have a Berellian air to you. Where is the Alpha? I would speak with him & his Pack. Tell me what has happened.-

Taka: -the Alpha Wolf has gone to see the Duke, to try and help this city. *fills him in on what's happened*-

Dionysus: The whole story?

Taka: insofar as she knows it. He asked, and she kinda hero-worships him.

Taka: Not the bit concerning her original mission, or regarding Radagast, though.

Dionysus: So noted. He listens & walks with you toward the Duke's place.

Taka keeps her respectful tone and such through it all.

Dionysus: When he reaches the Duke's place, he walks right in through the gate. His sons follow, firmly.
